School History
In September 2000, at the invitation of the Education Bureau, Ngau Tau Kok Catholic Primary School was reorganised into two whole-day primary schools. The newly established school was named Lok Wah Catholic Primary School.
Ngau Tau Kok Catholic Primary School was originally founded in September 1968 by the Maryknoll Fathers and Brothers of the United States. Rooted in the spirit of Christian love, the school was established to provide quality foundational education for children in the local community. In August 1982, the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong assumed administration of the school, continuing its mission under the guidance of the school motto: " Seeking Knowledge Exemplifying Virtue." The school has consistently emphasised academic excellence alongside moral cultivation—encouraging students to pursue practical knowledge while upholding strong ethical values and noble character.
