P.5 Students Experience the IBF World Bowling Championships

On November 28, 2025, 28 of our Primary 5 students embarked on an exciting journey to the Kai Tak Top Bowl. Through the "JC Project MuSE", the school arranged for the students to participate in the "Jockey Club IBF World Bowling Championships Community Programme," giving them a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a world-class sporting event.

The schedule was packed with enriching activities. Students began with a session led by professional guides, where they learned about bowling rules, scoring techniques, and the glorious history of the Hong Kong, China representative team in a fun and accessible way. The students were particularly thrilled to get "hands-on" with the equipment, touching professional bowling balls of different weights. For many, it was their first encounter with professional gear, and they listened intently, eager to try it out themselves.

The highlight of the day was moving to the spectator stands to witness the championship matches. The students were captivated by the intense competition, watching top-tier athletes from around the globe perform with absolute focus. The tension and professionalism in the arena made for a truly spectacular experience.

To conclude the visit, students and teachers toured the Kai Tak Sports Park, soaking in the grandeur of this new sports landmark for Hong Kong, before capturing the memory with group photos. This excursion served as more than just a sports introduction; it was an inspiring lesson in perseverance and the importance of bravely chasing one's dreams.
